This privacy policy indicates what information we might collect about you through our website cosmic-hub.org, how we might process that information, and how you can find out what information has been collected regarding your personal data.

 

You can consult most of the pages that make up our website without being asked for any personal data. There are few instances in which we will request your personal data to deliver specific services or answer your enquiries –  subscription to our newsletter or general inquiries.


 

  1. CIC Poland sp. z o.o. /limited liability company/ (“CIC Poland”) with its registered office in Warsaw, Chmielna 73 street, 00-801 Warsaw and Polska Agencja Kosmiczna („POLSA”) with its registered office in Gdańśk, Technologiczny, Trzy Lipy 3, 80-172 are joint controllers  of your personal data under EU law (hereinafter jointly referred to as (“Joint Controllers“)

  2. CIC Poland has appointed Data Protection Officer who may be contacted at the following e-mail: dpo@cicwarsaw.com,

  3. POLSA has appointed Data Protection Officer who may be contacted at the following e-mail: iod@polsa.gov.pl.

  4. The recipient of your personal data may be external companies providing support to the Joint Controllers on the basis of outsourced services with which appropriate data processing agreements have been concluded. Your data may be made available to entities authorized to do so under the law, as well as to accounting offices, a company providing website and mail maintenance services.

  5. Please be advised that the personal data provided by you will be processed for the following purposes:

    1. To establish a list of subscribers wishing to receive cosmic-hub newsletters - (article 6.1.a of the GDPR

    2. To send cosmic-hub newsletters to the subscribers - (article 6.1. a of the GDPR

    3. To respond to queries submitted by web users - (article 6.1.f of the GDPR – legitimate interest of Joint Controllers

    4. To process data for statistical and management purposes - (article 6.1.f of the GDPR - legitimate interest of Joint Controllers)

  6. The data will be processed until the correspondence is completed, and then for a period of up to 3 calendar years from the moment you send the last message. The newsletter data will be processed until the service is completed or the consent is withdrawn.

  7. You have the right to: be informed about how your personal information is being used, access the personal information and request, that we submit to you a copy of your personal data, request the rectification of inaccurate personal information, request the erasure of your personal data, request the restriction of processing, transfer your personal data (right to data portability), object to certain data processing (e.g. if based on legitimate interest), withdraw consent, complain to the competent authorities.

  8. In case of processing data on the basis of your consent – you shall have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  9. If you think that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority in Poland: President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

  10. Your data may be transferred to third countries and international organizations when entities based in these countries have implemented adequate safeguards for processed personal data. If personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the Controller applies Standard Contractual Clauses as safeguards for countries for which the European Commission has not found an adequate level of data protection.
